Transitioning

Transitioning from chemically treated hair whether it is relaxer, curls or any of the sort....going natural is hard work, but it's all worth it in the end!!!

I made the decision to return to my natural hair just about 1 year ago and it was the best decision i have ever made. Life is just so much easier and hassle free. For us gals, hair is very important to us as it affects our appearance, and so we spend a lot of time, money and energy to ensure that it is in order.

Don't get me wrong, it was not an easy journey but it gets easier as time progresses. Depending on the style of Natural Hair you intend maintain the transition process may vary. Some people tend to wear their hair as is,  while others may grow different types of locks while maintaining the Natural look.

Natural hair will require you finding the right products for your hair texture. Not because its natural means that you no longer have to take care of it. The form, colour, shape and texture of your hair is yours. It's all about understanding your hair, figuring out what works for your texture and shape and embracing it.
